What You’ll DoAs an Associate Teacher (AT) you’ll receive comprehensive training, development, and support as you gain the skills and knowledge to become a lead teacher. You’ll work with a team of educators to support the academic and social-emotional success of Veritas Prep middle school scholars, participate in learning and team-building with the AT Coach and other Associate Teachers, and get hands-on experience throughfrequent classroom coverage,one-on-one and small-group tutoring,planning and curriculum prep,one-on-one coaching and feedback sessions, andreal-time classroom practice, guided by an experienced educator.The Associate Teacher role is great for recent college grads, career changers, and newly graduated education students who want to get another year of experience and training under their belt before taking on a classroom of their own.
